By using HabitHero you agree to these terms. Please read them.

1. The service

HabitHero is an app that helps families manage chores and habits through points, ranks and rewards. It is a tracking and motivation tool — it does not handle, hold, or transfer real money between you and your child.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18+ to create a parent/admin account. You're responsible for your login, for any child profiles you create, and for supervising your children's use of the app.

3. Rewards & "allowance"

Points, XP, rewards and any "allowance" value are between you and your child. HabitHero displays and tracks them but does not pay, owe, or guarantee any reward or sum of money. You decide what points are worth and whether to honour them.

4. Purchases

HabitHero is a one-time purchase ($14.99 early-bird, rising to $29.99) that unlocks the app — there is no subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms; refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to break or overload the service.
• Don't use the app to harm, harass, or unfairly punish a child.
• Don't upload unlawful or harmful content.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you enter (chore names, photos, etc.). You grant us the limited right to store and process it solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability & disclaimers

The app is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable but can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that notifications will always arrive on time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HabitHero is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any reward/allowance arrangements you make with your child. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and request deletion of your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above and notify you of material changes.
